Amanda has been interested in acting since she was a young girl living in Brazil.  She would always seek out performances and shows of all kinds, from TV series and movies to plays and musicals, and reenact them with her younger sisters.  Although she grew up in Brazil, she always had an eye on productions from the U.S. and Hollywood.  When Amanda turned 22, she decided to make the big move to the U.S.  Although she had already spent several years studying Law in Brazil, her childhood dream of one day becoming an actor did not allow her to become passionate about any other career. 

Once she arrived in the U.S., Amanda focused on strengthening her English, and she is now fluent in both English and Portuguese.  With her heart still set on a career in acting, Amanda has been taking acting classes with Lee Strasberg Institute and Boston Casting for over two years, and her passion towards her goal has grown even stronger.  She has already had many opportunities in her young career, including roles in award winning short films such as Hombre de la Casa and Umbra, as well as background work in a major upcoming Hollywood production, The Instigators, starring Matt Damon.  Amanda looks forward to continuing to grow as an actor and being involved in projects she believes in.
